Hillside Trams manufactures, installs, maintains and services all trams.
Manufacturing is done in-house and meets or exceeds all national A.S.M.E. (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) incline elevator safety codes.
Car Lift Motor Control
Variable speed soft start/soft stop motor control package for smooth, quiet operation. All control panels are U.L. rated (Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.). Dual cable using galvanized aircraft cable.
Cable Car Braking Features
Multiple braking features which include being equipped with an "over-speed" elevator governor safety brake system that automatically engages in the event of excessive speed shutting down the system. Steel bumpers are installed at the bottom of the track. Prior to paint, all systems are sand blasted, zinc primer then power coated painted. Galvanizing is also available.
